Literary Garden Party

A delightful DC literary gathering
Held on September 28, 2024, from 3-5 PM
Hill Center, 921 Pennsylvania Ave SE

Our Literary Garden Party is a wonderful opportunity to mix and mingle with writers and readers on the Hill Center’s lovely lawn while enjoying complimentary beer, wine, soft drinks and a sumptuous grazing table. 

This past September, the party kicked off with a few inspiring words from Jeffrey Dale Lofton, Jamila Minnicks, Sarah Pekkanen, and Shannon Sanders. Additional guest authors included Rabih Alameddine, E.A. Aymar, Louis Bayard, Susan Coll, Tope Folarin, Donna Hemans, Dan Kois, Bethanne Patrick, Martha Anne Toll and Mary Kay Zuravleff: a Who’s Who of writers. East City Bookshop was also on hand to sell copies of our Featured Authors’ and Guest Authors’ books.
