Lisa Lednicer is the night Metro editor at The Washington Post. She also has been a homepage editor and a copy editor at The Post. Over her three-decade career in journalism, Lisa has been associate editor and writer at Arlington Magazine and has worked at newspapers across the country. As a loaned staffer to the Grand Forks Herald, she shared in the Pulitzer Prize for Public Service for coverage of the 1997 Red River flood in North Dakota. She also copy-edited one of the stories in the Post’s 2018 Pulitzer Prize-winner investigative package about U.S. Senate candidate Roy Moore. Lisa also is a regular contributor to Nieman Storyboard, a website about the art and craft of writing. She is a graduate of Northwestern University and was awarded a Knight-Wallace Fellowship at the University of Michigan, with a concentration in law, during the 2002-03 academic year.
