Caroline Schreiber (she/her) is a passionate arts administrator and arts advocate. Throughout nearly 15 years in the non-profit sector, she has honed her expertise in fundraising, organizational development, program and event planning, and staff and volunteer management. Prior to joining PEN/Faulkner in May 2022, Caroline was the Institutional Giving Manager at Signature Theatre, where she also served on the Executive Committee of the Theatre’s Anti-Racism & Equity Working Group. Previously, she held development and strategypositions with the Washington National Opera at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Encore Stage & Studio, and Elevate LLC. Her additional career experience includes arts education and program management roles with McCarter Theatre Center, the Shakespeare Theatre Company, and the Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital. She currently serves as a Development Consultant for the National New Play Network.
Caroline is a former Arts Commissioner for Alexandria, Virginia and served as Co-Chair of the Commission’s Grants Committee from 2018-2022. She holds a B.A. in Theatre Performance from Scripps College in Claremont, California.
