Cristi Donoso Best is an Ecuadorian-American writer whose work has been published by or is forthcoming in The Threepenny Review, The Cincinnati Review, PANK Magazine and Lake Effect. She holds an MFA in creative writing from American University, where she served as the editor of Folio Literary Journal. Born in Quito, she now lives outside Washington, DC.

Cristi Donoso Best is the Writer in Residence with EL Haynes Public Charter School, where she will collaborate with Topher Kandik on narratives of immigration, borders, and concepts of “home.”
