Award for fiction
One of the foremost prizes for literary fiction in the nation, The PEN/Faulkner Award honors the best published works of fiction by American writers in a calendar year. Three judges, writers themselves, select five books from among the more than 300 works submitted, making this the largest peer-juried award in the country.
